Chad Live Directs a Workshop is part show and part workshop that plays to big audiences at the Lyric Hyperion Theater in LA.

The concept is simple. An ensemble of strangers are live directed as they improvised a one-hour (mostly) silent clown show in front of a live audience. Chad ruthlessly pushes these brave souls into taking huge risks and unpacking their most delightfully dumb ideas. Through it all, Chad points out teachable moments for students or just audience members who are curious about how clown work differs from other performance styles.
